Overview

Are you looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity? We have a 12-month fixed term contract available for an Interim Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating and allocating high volume, high value bank receipts on client accounts on a daily basis.

We are looking for someone who is professional in manner and presentation, has sound customer service skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally. An analytical problem-solving approach, initiative, a 'can do' attitude, and a results-driven mindset are also important qualities for this role.

How you'll make an impact

  • Analyse and resolve all unallocated cash queries set within agreed service level agreement (SLA).
  • Provide management information to key stakeholders on status of unallocated cash.
  • Familiarity with all processes between teams to deliver customer excellence.
  • Liaise with key business area contacts to ensure communication channels are open & effective.
  • Liaise with counterpart in offshore team to ensure allocations are achieved within SLA
  • Highlight any issues with Team Leader.
  • Attend stakeholder meetings as require and present unallocated cash pertaining to their branch.
  • Processing Bank Refunds weekly ensuring attention to detail and compliance.
  • Deal with Internal/External auditors as and when required.

About You

  • Previous finance experience of working with high volume data, in fast paced environment is ideal
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Professional in manner and presentation
  • Sound customer service skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • Analytical problem solving approach
  • Takes initiative has a ‘can do’ attitude
