MLC Partners are supporting a reputable NHS Trust who are seeking a Director of Operations to oversee Surgical and Cancer services.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing surgical services and cancer to ensure efficient and effective delivery of care
• Driving improvements in theatre utilisation, ensuring optimal use of resources and timely scheduling of procedures
• Leading on bed management improvement
• Monitoring and analysing performance metrics, including income and activity, to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability among staff members.

You will need to demonstrate:

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of NHS policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and manage competing demands.
