Robertson Bell is thrilled to be partnering with a fantastic organisation to recruit a Finance Assistant on a one-month contract, with the potential for extension. This role offers a strong focus on accounts payable, with a touch of accounts receivable, making it a fantastic opportunity for those looking to expand their expertise. With flexibility for part time hours, this is a great opportunity for someone who is able to work on site in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently processing a high volume of purchase invoices with precision
  • Managing the invoice approval process and swiftly resolving supplier queries
  • Supporting credit control by chasing outstanding payments through email and phone
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring finance systems are up to date
  • Using Excel for insightful data analysis and reconciliation tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience working in a finance function, with a solid understanding of accounts payable processes and day to day bookkeeping
  • A proactive, detail-oriented individual who excels at communication with both internal and external stakeholders
  • A positive, “can-do” attitude, ready to jump into a variety of finance tasks with enthusiasm
  • Immediate availability and a willingness to work full-time in the office
