Interim Finance Director

Alexander Lloyd are delighted to announce that they are exclusively partnering with a brilliant organisation in their search for an Interim Finance Director, based in Canterbury, Kent.

This is an outstanding position for an experienced Finance Director/Head of Finance/Financial Controller who is hands on, and looks at improving or implementing new processes to make the overall finance function more efficient.

Reporting directly to the SLT, you will be the number one in Finance and ultimately have the reigns to make the position your own.

Key Responsibilities for the Interim Finance Director

• Develop and implement financial strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
• Oversee financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Lead the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What we are looking for in an Interim Finance Director

• Proven track record of success in developing and implementing financial strategies.
• Proven experience in being a Head of Finance, Finance Director or Financial Controller in a SME business.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and tax regulations.

What is on offer:

Hybrid working pattern of ONLY 2 days per week in the office.

£400 - £500 day rate (inside IR35).

This role is initially a 6 month interim assignment with the potential to go permanent.
