Handle are currently working with a global entertainment giant who are looking for an Interim Finance Manager to cover maternity leave. This is a broad Finance Manager role that covers areas of FP&A, financial accounting, business partnering and royalty accounting. Additionally, the Finance Manager will manage a Royalty Finance Analyst while supporting the Senior Manager in streamlining processes and exploring more efficient reporting methods.

Key responsibilities include -

  • Oversee development budgets, recoupment, and funding for external and internal investments
  • Review balance sheet reconciliations, providing commentary when needed
  • Manage and mentor a Royalties Finance Analyst
  • Manage financial processes and analysis for various divisions
  • Supervise AP/AR activities
  • Review and process royalty invoices in SAP
  • Collaborate with Senior Finance Manager to improve Group processes

Candidate requirements -

  • Qualified Accountant - ACA. ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and finance systems (SAP is highly advantageous)
  • Experience partnering with senior management and leadership teams
  • Expertise in managing finance processes and royalties within the media industry
  • Knowledge and experience managing intercompany structures and reconciliations
  • Skilled in interpreting complex deal structures and integrating financial accounting into business processes
