We are seeking an Interim Finance Manager to join our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.

Description

The key responsibilities of aInterimFinance Manager will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Manage all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Supervise finance team members and oversee their professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with other department managers to identify financial opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors.
  • Coordinate audits and ensure accuracy of financial information.
  • Develop financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and decision-making at the senior management level.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

  • A relevant degree in finance or accounting.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the Not For Profit and Charities sector.
  • Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to commute to Blackburn.
  • High level of proficiency in finance software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
