Interim Finance Manager

We have an immediate opportunity for an Interim Finance Manager to join a fantastic organisation based in Cardiff city centre.

This will be an ongoing role whilst the organisation are going through a period of change.

Description

The Finance manager plays a key role in the success of the organisation.

Reporting the the CFO, The Finance Manager is a hands on role are will be responsible for all day-to-day financial activities of the business. The Finance Manager plays a key role in the control, management, and improvement of accounting processes.

As part of your role, you will be leading a small team.

The role will include;

• Overseeing daily financial operations within the company.
• Developing and implementing effective financial strategies.
• Ensuring the company's financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and legislation.
• Analysing the financial climate and market trends to assist senior executives in creating strategic plans for the future.
• Interpreting complex financial information and providing updates and information as needed.
• Managing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
• Working closely with the executive team to share reports and analysis findings.
• Implementing new procedures and processes to enhance the workflow of the department.

Profile

A successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

• A professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent. QBE's will be considered with the right experience.
• Proficiency in using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
• Excellent cashflow management skills
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to make key decisions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
