Interim Financial Accountant, Hitchin, Hertfordshire
£50,000 - £55,000, 3 months+
Hybrid working (2 days in the office per week)
Our client, a highly successful corporate entity with a progressive but structured approach, is looking to source the capabilities of an interim finance professional.
The role, will allow a financial reporting specialist to flourish in an environment which allows for both mentoring and autonomy, and gives the chance to pick up new expertise on an ongoing basis. The role is fluid and thus will change over time, but the initial brief will comprise of the following areas:
- preparation, and review of statutory accounts for multiple legal entities.
- submission of accounts to Companies House in accordance with strict deadlines.
- assistance with group audit process, liaising with external auditors.
- supporting the Head of Group Reporting and corporate tax director.
- preparation of VAT returns with compliance.
- setting up new entities as a result of organic growth.
- ad-hoc treasury management including cash flow, and currency requirements.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be up to date with new financial reporting and technical guidelines.
