Interim Financial Controller - Marketplace

Talentedge are working with a fast-growth, dynamic Marketplace business as they search for an Interim Financial Controller to join their growing finance team. This role is vital to maintaining the financial performance and function for one of London’s fastest growing start-ups. As Financial Controller, you will be working closely with the CFO and SLT to improve the businesses current operational and finance processes to follow the businesses current growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities:

  • Take responsibility for all accurate recording of all financial transactions within the business, including supervision of the Finance team.
  • Prepare, analysis and publication of the monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, along with associated KPI reporting
  • Implement improvements to workflows, systems and processes.
  • Advising on commercial decisions and supporting operational teams.
  • Prepare investor reporting information and support fund-raising activities

The ideal candidate will have:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification with 2-3 years PQE
  • Extensive experience working for a start-up/scale up business
  • Experience in driving process/business improvement
  • Demonstrable experience in working with senior stakeholder of both a finance and non-finance background
  • Experience working with Xero
