Interim Financial Controller

Manchester, 3 days per week with 2 days remote.

£500 per day, outside IR35, including expenses

I have a pressing requirement for an Interim Financial Controller to join an international, multi-site business based in North Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional to make a significant impact to the financial operations of a growing organisation.

The business has recently changed ownership and the acquiring party is looking to make improvements across the board but with the backdrop of antiquated systems, processes and technology

The role will suit a technically strong candidate who is experienced in the delivery of group consolidation on an international basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Group Consolidation: Lead the consolidation of the international entities, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
• Audit Delivery: Oversee and deliver the group audit, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Drive Change and Improvements: Implement strategic changes to improve overall financial performance and reporting timetables.
• Ownership: Take full ownership driving continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Group consolidation of international entities.
• Experience of managing an international accounting timetable.
• Ability to deliver audits effectively and efficiently.
• A proactive approach to driving change and improving reporting timetables.
