Interim Financial Controller (3–6 Month FTC)

?? Lincolnshire | £80,000–£90,000 | On-site, 5 Days a Week

We’re recruiting on behalf of a fast-paced, manufacturing business near Lincoln for an experienced Interim Financial Controller to support during a key period of transition.

This 3–6 month fixed-term role requires a steady, capable leader who can take ownership of technical accounting, year-end delivery, and statutory compliance — all while managing a well-established team and keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the year-end process, ensuring accuracy and audit readiness
  • Take ownership of technical accounting, statutory accounts, and VAT
  • Oversee financial controls, ensuring strong governance and compliance
  • Manage and support a team of 8–10 (including 3 direct reports)
  • Report into the CFO and play a key role in maintaining financial integrity

What You’ll Bring:
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar senior finance role
  • Essential: strong background in a manufacturing environment
  • Skilled in technical reporting, compliance, and year-end delivery
  • Confident managing teams and embedding strong financial controls
