A PE-backed manufacturing business is recruiting for an Interim Group Financial Accountant on an initial 4 month contract with high possibility of extensions, as the organisation continues its growth and investors begin on the road to an exit. This is a highly visible role supporting the Group Financial Controller and CFO through a heavy period of activity.

Responsibilities:

As the Interim Group Financial Accountant, you will be:

  • Reporting to the Group FC and CFO to deliver on integral monthly reporting and investor reporting packs
  • Own monthly management reporting
  • Reporting under IFRS and FRS102 for a number of global entities
  • Owning the audit process and acting as the main point of contact for auditors
  • Consolidating group results for presentation to the Board and investors
  • Producing month end management accounts for selected entities
  • Involved in project related work around M&A integration and process improvement

Candidate:

The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACA qualified from a big 4 accounting practice, with 1-2 years post-qualification experience
  • ACCA/CIMA qualified with relevant experience will also be considered
  • Experience with manufacturing or supply chain businesses is desirable
  • Prior experience within mid-market PE environments is also hugely beneficial
