This role is initially offered as a 6-9-month contract, with a competitive day rate ranging from £900 - 1,100 (Outside IR35).

A UK based market leader in their space, delivering exceptional experiences to its international client base. Their growth has been vastly accelerated by a history of aggressive M&A.

The Role:

This is a high-impact leadership position at the heart of a fast-paced, high-growth organisation. We're looking for a strategic finance leader with a deep technical foundation and a clear vision for transforming the global reporting landscape. You'll play a key role in shaping how financial data is delivered, understood, and used to drive decision-making across the group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transform and Lead the Reporting Function: Spearhead the evolution of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles, embedding scalable processes and ensuring compliance with IFRS. Own the end-to-end transformation of reporting to enhance insight, agility, and accuracy.
  • Audit & Compliance Oversight: Lead the relationship with external auditors and stay ahead of evolving IFRS requirements. Bring clarity and structure to complex accounting issues across the group.
  • Integration and Change Management: Own the reporting integration of new acquisitions, ensuring they are brought into group processes quickly and efficiently. Champion best-practice financial management as the business continues to scale.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with FP&A and Corporate Finance to align reporting with strategic planning, commercial goals, and investor expectations.

Your Profile:

You'll have a strong background in consolidation, technical accounting, and audit management, with the ability to lead and mentor a team across different geographies.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead global finance teams to meet tight reporting deadlines.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive knowledge of IFRS reporting, with a track record of managing complex accounting issues.
  • Problem Solver: A proactive mindset, with a passion for driving change and continuous improvement.
  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, and able to manage the complexities that come with a rapidly growing, acquisitive business.
