Intro

Cedar is currently partnered with a highly impressive PE-Backed information management firm to secure an Interim Group Reporting Manager based in Central London (95% remote). The role is a 3-6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £475 - £550 per day (inside IR35, Umbrella)

The Company

This business has been rapidly scaling through an aggressive acquisition agenda to complement their organic growth. At this stage in their journey, there is an increased focus on systems & processes, and you will have the opportunity to play an ad-hoc role in working alongside the permanent team in improving these.

The Role

As the Interim Group Reporting Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Consolidation Management: Lead the Group's consolidation process under FRS102, maintaining accuracy and compliance while identifying opportunities for process and control improvements.
  • Financial Statement Production: Produce year-end and interim Group financial statements, ensuring the presentation and disclosure meet regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations.
  • Audit Coordination: Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors, facilitating a smooth audit process, and ensuring timely resolution of audit queries.
  • Statutory Accounts: Take responsibility for the production of UK subsidiary statutory accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
  • Ad Hoc Projects: Collaborate on various ad hoc projects to support both Group finance and business unit finance teams, including acquisitions, integration, and special financial initiatives.
  • Technical Accounting Guidance: Provide ad hoc technical accounting guidance to divisional finance teams, ensuring consistent and accurate application of accounting principles.

Your Profile

You will have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory accounts production.
  • Strong knowledge of FRS102 and other relevant accounting standards.
  • Previous experience leading audit processes.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote working environment.
