About the client
The Management Recruitment Group is seeking an Interim Head of Estates to deliver a range of capital works and new-build schemes for a prestigious school in London.
Accountabilities
- Delivery of a new-build classroom project, c £5m in value
- Delivery of leisure facilities, c £2m in value
- Management of external contractors and consultancies
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to required standards
- Liaison with academic staff and work closely with the wider estates team
- Responsible for project finance and procurement activities
- Attend site meetings as required
Candidate Requirements
- MCIOB, MRICS or working towards
- Experience delivering capital works schemes within the public sector
- Ideally some experience within schools/education
- Able to start quickly
- Willingness to travel to site as required
