Interim Head of Indirect Tax, Outsde IR35

An interim opportunity for 4-6 months has arisen for an experienced Head of VAT / Senior Manager within the Headquarters of this Global Group. Reporting to the Director of Tax, you will have ownership across indirect tax globally and be able to work with autonomy in driving global VAT projects forward. You will need to be available in the coming weeks and the client is prepared to pay for accommodation and food expenses so you to be in Cheshire for 3 days / week.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead, support and advise the tax compliance team on the indirect tax treatment of new transactions
• Identify indirect tax policy changes that will impact the business and advise and implement solutions accordingly Partner with the business to advise on the correct treatment of VAT with new product lines and restructures
• Ensure technical accuracy of worldwide indirect tax filings.
