Interim Management Accountant -Newquay / Hybrid - Full or Part time - Circa: £40,000

Trial Balance Consulting have been engaged by a previous client, a well-established education provider based in Newquay who require the assistance of a Management Accountant.

This interim assignment is fairly urgent and the client is keen for someone who can start at relatively short notice. For this reason the client is open to idea of full or part time and there is scope for a decent amount of remote working for the right person.

The role will initially last until September but there is the potential for it to continue beyond this should the business need arise.

The successful candidate will need to assist and support the current CFO in the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts with accompanying commentary for the senior management team. Along with cash flow forecasting, reconciliations, financial analysis, budget/target reporting and general support of the overall operations of the finance function.

This role calls for an experienced candidate, either operating in a business partnering or management accounting capacity, or as a senior Assistant Accountant looking to take a step up. Previous experience gained in a education environment would be ideal, but not essential. Candidates may be part/fully professionally qualified (ideally CIMA/ACCA), AAT, or qualified by experience, but must possess excellent all round IT aptitude.
