Migrant Help is a leading charity, established in 1963 that delivers a range of support and advice services to migrants across the UK. Our vision is for a global society that protects migrants, treats them with respect and enables them to reach their full potential. We provide independent advice and guidance to assist people seeking asylum in the UK, supporting those most in need and least likely to find support elsewhere, whilst aiming to bridge community gaps and bring services and support together. We provide support to those affected by displacement and exploitation, helping them thrive as individuals and recover from their trauma. With 10 offices across the UK, we provide advice, guidance, and support to people seeking asylum, refugees, and victims of modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

Due to an internal promotion, we are now looking for a new People Manager to join us for an initial period of 12 months. Reporting into our Director of People and Culture, you will collaborate closely to lead and motivate the People operations team, providing support, guidance, and expert input, combined with also managing complex cases (disciplinary, grievances, appeals) based on up-to-dateemployment law knowledge. This will be a key role for us, to ensure we are strong in HR process efficiency, with effective and efficient transactional processes in an automated, self-service environment and thus able to meet established SLAs. You will also be tasked with analyzing trends, compiling data, and create presentations to drive business insights and assist with our culture development so helping to foster employee engagement and contribute to creating a Great Place to Work

This role can be remote working with very occasional travel to one of our nationwide offices. CIPD qualification or equivalent is highly desirable.

We foster a culture in which equality, diversity and inclusion are recognised, valued and encouraged. It doesn't matter who you are or where you come from, we match your skills with the needs of our organisation, as long as you share our values, vision and goals. We welcome applications from candidates regardless of their age, religion or belief, race, gender reassignment, disability, sexual orientation, sex, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity.
