An Planning Solicitor is needed to join our clients on a full remote basis as soon as possible. The role calls for the Solicitor to handle a wide rage of planning applications and agreements through to appeals.

Client Details

The organisation is a large practice servicing infrastructure, education, environmental, social and health. They're fully flexible across the organisation and welcome home working applications.

Description

  • Provide legal advice and guidance on planning applications, agreements, and appeals
  • Prepare and review legal documentation related to planning and regulatory issues
  • Represent the organisation at planning committees, hearings, and inquiries
  • Work closely with internal departments and external stakeholders
  • Stay abreast of legislative changes within the planning law sphere
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies
  • Contribute to the development of planning policies and procedures
  • Undertake any other duties related to planning law as required

Profile

A successful Planning Solicitor should have:

  • Experience in dealing with planning applications, agreements, and appeals at Solicitor level
  • Experience of S 106, S 38 and S 278
  • Strong knowledge of planning law and related regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
