We are thrilled to announce an excellent job opportunity for an Interim Senior Finance Business Partner. This position is with our client, a large and prestigious business in the West Midlands with a global presence, currently undergoing a period of change and transformation.

As the Interim Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for supporting the FP&A Director in building relationships with a variety of non-finance, director-level stakeholders to provide crucial insights and guidance for strategic decision-making.

Location: West Midlands (2-3 days pw onsite)

Contract length: 12 months +

Candidate Rate: £450-£600 per day (outside IR35)

Start Date: End of July

Key Responsibilities of the Interim Senior Finance Business Partner

  • Collaborate with operational teams to uncover opportunities for reducing costs and implementing initiatives to enhance efficiency.
  • Work closely with senior leaders to gain insight into business goals, obstacles, and potential areas for growth.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to aid strategic initiatives.
  • Oversee annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
  • Create and maintain financial and tracking models to support business planning and decision-making.
  • Monitor and analyse important financial and operational metrics.
  • Spot trends, risks, and opportunities to drive performance improvements.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and summaries of financial performance.

Essential Requirements of the Interim Senior Finance Business Partner

  • Fully qualified in CIMA (desirable), ACCA or ACA.
  • Exposure to working in a large corporation and managing significant multi-million-pound budgets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
