Interim Senior Financial Accountant

Intro

Cedar is currently partnered with a highly impressive PE-Backed events business to secure an Interim Senior Financial Accountant based in Central London (3 days a week in). The role is a 3-6-month initial contract, paying a day rate between £400 - £500 per day.

The Company

This business has been rapidly scaling through an aggressive acquisition agenda to complement their organic growth. At this stage in their journey, there is an increased focus on systems & processes, and you will have the opportunity to play an ad-hoc role in working alongside the permanent team in improving these.

The Role

As the Interim Senior Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Co-ordinating the annual audit
• Maintain and review accounting policies and general ledger data and ensure compliance with group policies and IFRS
• Ensure internal controls are properly designed and reviewed/tested on a regular basis

Your Profile

You will have:

• A professional accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and statutory accounts production.
• Previous experience leading audit processes.
• Proficiency in financial systems and reporting tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation & Benefits

As well as the day rate of £400 - £500 per day, the role offers exposure to an impressive, commercially minded team, building out a world-class finance function.

The business is progressive in their approach to flexible working, and will require 4-5 days a week in the office to begin but flexibility will be shown after the first few weeks, reducing time in the office down to 2-3 days a week. Easily accessible Central London location.
