Morgan McKinley are proud to be working with a professional services business in the Northamptonshire area, looking for an interim SOX Accountant who has implemented or supported the integration of SOX compliance.

Role;

Responsibilities;

  • Lead the implementation and management of SOX compliance across the organisation
  • Design, document, and evaluate internal controls to ensure compliance with SOX requirements
  • Collaborate with various departments to identify and address compliance issues
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans to mitigate identified risks
  • Coordinate and support internal and external audits related to SOX compliance
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on SOX compliance and internal controls
  • Prepare and present SOX compliance reports to senior management

Profile

  • Proven experience in implementing and managing a SOX process
  • Strong background in internal auditing within a US business
  • In-depth knowledge of SOX regulations and internal control frameworks
  • ACCA, CPA or ACA qualification required
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
