Interim Technical Accountant

Your new company
An AIM listed company based outside of Glasgow is working with Hays to recruit an interim technical accountant. Offering modern offices with excellent amenities. This client is looking to bring on this individual for a minimum of 3 months.
Your new role
Reporting to the financial controller, your new role will include duties such as:

• Preparation of financial statements
• Support with group consolidation and year-end journal entries.
• Assisting with year-end audit queries and requests as part of the annual statutory audit fieldwork
• Responsible for preparing monthly management.
• Preparation of timely and accurate group consolidation including IFRS journals
• Support and prepare cash flow forecasts.

To be successful

• Have a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Self-motivated with a 'can do' attitude
• Ability to explain financial metrics/concepts to other functional managers
• Qualified accountant
