An esteemed multi-discipline property and construction consultancy group is seeking an Intermediate Fire Engineer. This firm delivers professional services to public and private sector developers and housebuilders, focusing on innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise closely with clients, contractors, developers, Clerk of Works, and other key stakeholders.
  • Undertake risk assessments in line with current legislation.
  • Advise clients on pragmatic, cost-effective solutions to mitigate risk where possible.
  • Assist in the growth, development, and structure of a small team, drawing upon team leadership skills and experience.

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 years post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • Understanding of external wall risk assessments.
  • Proficient in conducting Type 1-4 Fire Risk Assessments (FRAs) and compartmentation surveys.
  • Experience with large and small refurbishment and recladding projects.
  • Knowledge of fire protection work.
  • Working towards professional qualifications such as MIFireE, MIFSM, C Build E MCABE, or CEng.
