My client was founded by a software engineer and an actuary with the aim of making financial systems smarter. Since then they have grown to include sophisticated healthcare products as well.
They have a passion for data, analytics, software and machine learning. The team of experienced data scientists, and software engineers have technology at the heart of all the work they deliver to clients and are seeking a talented Intermediate Full Stack Software Developer to join their dynamic team.


Summary of role:

My client are looking for an Intermediate Full Stack Software Developer with expertise in C# .NET and Angular to contribute to the development and enhancement of their software products. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of both front-end and back-end development principles, along with a proven track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain software applications using C# .NET and Angular.
  • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following best practices and coding standards.
  • Develop responsive and intuitive user interfaces using Angular framework.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs to enable seamless communication between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability to ensure optimal user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, and provide timely resolution to technical challenges.
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products.
  • Collaborate with team members to review code, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to documentation, including technical specifications, user guides, and API documentation.

Requirements (Not all Essential):

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on full stack development using C# .NET and Angular.
  • Strong proficiency in C# programming language and the .NET framework.
  • Experience with front-end technologies such as Angular (Angular 2+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
  • Experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, Postgres) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework).
  • Knowledge of web application security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Self-motivated with a passion for learning and professional growth.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
