Our client, a well-established leader in their industry, is seeking an experienced Account Manager to join their team. Known for their outstanding reputation and excellent service, they have a robust client base and are looking for someone to manage and grow existing accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

Account Management: Maximise business from an existing set of accounts.
Product and Market Knowledge: Develop a broad understanding of products, customers, and suppliers to sustain and expand sales and the client base.
Customer Contact: Maintain regular communication with customers.
Upselling and Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products.
Customer Re-engagement: Reach out to lapsed customers to re-establish relationships.
Quotations: Interpret customer requirements and provide accurate quotations.
Order Management: Follow up on quotations to convert them into orders, and process and manage customer orders.
Stock Management: Allocate stock to project orders upon arrival from suppliers.
Delivery Follow-Up: Ensure timely follow-up on customer deliveries and resolve any arising issues.
CRM Maintenance: Keep the CRM system up to date.
Required Skills and Experience:

Sales/Account Management Success:

Proven success in a sales and account management role, cross selling, upselling and servicing customers to maximise revenue.
Relationship Building: Ability to develop strong relationships with customer and supplier contacts.
Communication: Confident telephone manner with effective communication skills.
Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of technical products.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Microsoft Office Proficiency: Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite.
Numeracy and Literacy: Strong numeracy and literacy skills.
