Internal Auditor - CCR Investment Banking - 6 month contract, London

Marshall Wolfe are hiring an Internal Auditor with Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), and Lending Credit Risk Management experience to join a leading investment client. This is a great opportunity to play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities

As part of the Internal Audit Corporate Risk team, you will:

  • Lead and participate in CCR and Lending Credit Risk audit projects, including planning, scoping, execution, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Document audit procedures, assess the design and effectiveness of controls, and prepare audit test programs.
  • Evaluate risks and issues identified during audits or on an ad hoc basis, ensuring timely remediation with stakeholders.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with:

  • Professional certifications such as FRM, CFA, CIA, ACA, ACCA, or CPA are preferred.
  • Internal Audit or CCR/Lending Credit Risk Management (2LOD), with expertise in areas like Credit Risk Appetite, Governance, CRR risk metrics, CVA, Asset Secured Lending, and Commercial Real Estate.
  • Familiarity with Basel Capital Frameworks (e.g., PD/LGD models), global markets products, and relevant laws/regulations impacting credit risk management.
  • Strong analytical abilities, critical thinking skills, attention to detail, excellent communication (verbal/written), and project management expertise.

6 month contract - Inside IR35 - 5 days in the London office
