Internal Legal Counsel

Annual Salary: £40k - £50 per annum

Location: Winchester

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent (Hybrid) 

We are seeking a dedicated internal Legal Counsel to manage in-house legal matters, with a focus on customer and supplier contracts. This role is integral to operations and offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, providing legal expertise and support.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents including customer and supplier contracts.
  • Provide legal advice and support to various departments within the organisation.
  • Ensure compliance with all laws and regulations that apply to the business.
  • Manage and mitigate legal risks by designing and implementing company policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with external legal counsel as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation that may affect the company.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in contract law, with the ability to manage a variety of legal matters (preferred)
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
