Internal Sales Engineer/Estimator

Department: Internal Sales Department Reports to: Customer Operations Manager

Are you an organised, detail-oriented professional looking to make an impact in a dynamic sales environment? Our client is seeking a dedicated Internal Sales Engineer/Estimator to join their team. In this role, you will handle various sales enquiries (UK and Export), prepare project offers/quotations, and provide supporting documents such as cover letters, compliance statements, system designs, equipment details, and system operation documents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and quantifying complete systems accurately.
  • Utilising Excel and their in-house IFS software for estimations.
  • Conducting margin reviews and occasional site surveys.
  • Owning formal tenders, presenting offers confidently.
  • Sharing technical project information effectively.
  • Researching and preparing technical submission documents.
  • Delivering excellent customer service and promoting high standards.

Person Specification:

  • Essential: English GCSE (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Quickly grasping our client’s products and IT management system.
  • Possession of a current driving licence.
