Based: Walsall

Remuneration: £25,000 - £35,000 + up to 10% (rising to circa 20% year 2)

The role of the Internal Sales Executive - Access & Drainage Building Products will involve:

• Internal Sales role promoting predominantly a manufactured range of access & drainage solutions such as: access cover, gully gratings, steel covers, drainage etc.
• You will mainly be selling into independent & national merchants, also to a lesser extent: architects, main contractors, sub-contractors, ground workers, civil engineers
• Dealing with order values ranging from £50 - £10,000
• Deal with incoming enquiries via telephone & email
• Handle quotations and order processing, chasing & following up as appropriate
• Responsible for identifying new business opportunities
• Qualifying sales leads and passing across to the external sales teams
• Responsible for generating new business and developing long standing relationships

The ideal applicant will be an Internal Sales Executive - Access & Drainage Building Products with:

• Must have construction sales experience
• Ideally working for or having sold to builders merchants
• Our client is open hungry and ambitious individuals with no sales experience however possess a real motivation to succeed
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confident telephone manner and negotiating ability
• Ambitious, hungry, driven and willing to learn
• Computer and Microsoft office literacy
