Internal Business development executive - lighting/ electrical

£28,000 + high commission potential + structured career path

This expanding lighting/ electrical business has a new role as they look to expand the client portfolio, with the longer view to develop your own client base and create a regular and expanding customer base. You will be working independently on a day-to-day basis, with support from the directors and sales team to help you develop in creating sales opportunities from prospecting calls and emails, collecting any inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns and feeding into the CRM system. You will have access to LinkedIn sales navigator, with a separate lead generation tool to fast-track finding new leads and live projects. Making outbound calls and emails to prospects to follow up on live, and future projects. Logging all activity on CRM system against project opportunities, which will be used as an overall viewpoint for progress and pipeline.

The ideal candidate will be well presented, reliable and motivated, with exceptional communication skills. You will need to have LIGHTING/ ELECTRICAL knowledge and experience with the ability to engage with customers from the office via phone, email, and video calling, developing relationships in key industries and sectors. Lighting experience is required, with a keen attitude to learn and develop.

Office Based: Surrey Office hours Monday - Friday 8am - 4.30pm

Office within easy access to Carshalton, Wimbledon, Worcester Park, Thornton, Heath, Mitcham, Croydon
