A motivated internal sales executive is required for our prestigious market leading, award winning, Sunday Times Fast track 100 client based in the Aylesbury region commutable from Oxford to deliver excellent customer service and sales over the telephone to existing customers and processing accurate sales orders. In return there is a generous salary of £25k-£27k+ dependent on experience and excellent benefits including generous holidays, good contributory pension scheme and medical insurance, in a permanent stable company that rewards their employees. This exciting internal sales role would suit a proactive and driven professional with excellent communication and organisational skills and a good telephone manner and can - do attitude. This role is calling warm leads of existing customer quotations, asking customer questions about placing and processing the order and following these up. It would suit candidates who are confident in speaking to customers over the phone daily as this will be 80% of the role, it is a soft sell so not cold calling telesales but does require someone who is resilient and happy to be on the phone. Training will be provided so this may suit a graduate or college leaver or anyone with the right skills and drive looking to develop a long term career.

The ideal internal sales executive will have the following, experience, attributes and skills;

  • Good customer service experience with frequent telephone calls, ideally medium- high phone calls experience (any tele sales, market sales, market research calls, quotations sales experience would be of interest)
  • A full UK driving licence and already based a commutable distance to Aylesbury office daily for permanent onsite office based role (this is not hybrid, remote or part time,) The hours are 8.30-5.30 Monday to Friday
  • Highly organised, excellent attention to detail and a flexible, positive can-do attitude
  • Good team player, friendly, polite, professional, resilient telephone manner
  • Excellent IT skills (can use database, CRM systems. Salesforce is desirable)
  • Excellent listening ability, communication, negotiation and interaction skills

Key responsibilities of this internal sales executive role include;

  • Daily management of the quote database- following up on recent quotations, sales enquiries, customer interactions, CRM database
  • Calling customers regarding recent quotations, making outbound calls to existing customers, checking their quotes and answering queries and questions and following these up
  • Market research -Liaising with customers about the requirements, gathering more detailed information about their requirements, budgets ,future projects and competitors
  • Passing these qualifying leads & detailed info onto the Sales manager, hire and field sales teams
