International Tax Lead (Manufacturing)

We are currently recruiting a Global Tax Manager with a leading manufacturing group. This is broad role, responsible for oversight and management of all international tax compliance and statutory accounting functions within the organisation.

This role requires a deep understanding of international tax laws, regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and optimise the company’s global tax position. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal and operation to support international activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the preparation and review of international tax returns
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable international tax laws and regulations
  • Co-ordinate with external advisors and local finance teams to ensure accurate and timely tax filings
  • Oversee preparation and review of statutory financial statements for international subsidiaries
  • Co-ordinate with external auditors for statutory audits
  • Develop and implement tax planning strategies and monitor changes in international legislation
  • Manage transfer pricing policies and documentation

Requirements:

  • CTA/ACA/ACCA with Big 4 experience or working within a MNC preferred
  • Experience across international tax with a strong focus on stat accounting and compliance
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards
  • Proficient in tax software and financial systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead a team and work effectively in a cross-functional team environment
