Job Title: International Tax Manager - 3-6+ Month contract

Base Location: This role is based out some very modernised offices in Malmesbury, Wiltshire. Which is fairly close to Swindon, Bristol and Chippenham.

Work Pattern: For this role the team work on a hybrid work pattern, looking at ideally 2 days a week in the office.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an International Tax professional to join a world-renowned retail technology company on a 3-6+ month day rate contract.

The team you would be joining is mainly responsible for managing the corporate tax and associated compliance for the businesses group companies based in Europe and the Americas (currently over 20 jurisdictions).

In addition to assisting in compliance, you will also be involved in providing support to the business as and when the need arises. This involves ensuring all tax implications of a given business initiative, be it corporate tax, VAT or employment taxes, are considered and where required working with IT to ensure underlying systems are impact assessed, with necessary changes then being made.

On a day-to-day basis this role will include:

• Ensuring the corporate tax and withholding tax compliance arrangements are monitored and reviewed in each country and to highlight and drive process efficiencies where needed.
• Reviewing from a tax perspective the compliance documents and to ensure they are filed by the required statutory deadline and any relevant payment(s) made.
• Working with the local business entities and advisors to ensure that local tax audits are managed effectively and in-line with group policies.
• Working with the local teams and advisors to understand the business and the tax issues that arise and need to be managed.
• Working with the employment, VAT, group tax reporting and customs advisors to ensure that any related tax issues are handled correctly.

What will you need to do it?

• You will need extensive International Tax experience either gained through Industry and/or Practice.
• You would be a qualified accountant or Tax advisor. (ACA, ACCA, CA, CIMA, CTA, ATT)
