HRGO are recruiting for an International Transport Planner to join a successful Logistics company based near Dover, this is a fixed term contract for one year.

All applicants must have a minimum of 3 years experience in the haulage/ freight forwarding industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure orders from customers are entered into Manpack system
  • Check Bordero's (advices of goods arriving into Dover) from Depots and transmit on to the system for delivery
  • Organise direct deliveries and part/full loads
  • Amend pallet quantities on jobs where necessary and advise customers accordingly of any differences.
  • Send Collection Orders to the relevant depots.
  • Communicate with Depots regarding vehicles arriving in to load; advising the quantities of goods and vehicles required
  • Check e-mails from customers enquiring as to their collections/deliveries throughout the day
  • Arrange Customs paperwork where necessary and send through to the Customers Agent
  • Raise loading lists/offloads where required
  • Book train/ferries when necessary
  • Raise and complete files to be sent to the Administration Department on a timely basis.

General Responsibilities:

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation impacting on your role where required
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and ensure that confidentiality is applied where appropriate.

Working 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
