Draughtsperson- Inventor

Salary - £25,000-£35,000

Location- Wokingham

Role type- Permanent

My client is a market leading supplier in building solutions working on a variety of construction projects in the UK, specialising in high performance, energy efficient building products. They are an award-winning designer and manufacturer running since 1993.

My client are looking for a draughtsperson that has experience in Inventor. They are looking for someone to be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using Inventor. Your work will be essential in the development of the progression and improvement of new products to excel the company.

Responsibilities

  • Following specifications and calculations to create various technical drawings.
  • Preparing both rough sketches and detailed work with Inventor systems.
  • Performing calculations for materials and weight limitations.
  • Communicating with architects and engineers, and incorporating knowledge gained into drawings.
  • Preparing, reviewing and redrafting alongside the engineering team.
  • Ensuring final designs are compliant with building regulations.
  • Identifying and communicating potential design problems to the rest of the team.
  • Experience in computer-aided design- that has used Inventor
  • Ability to draw manually favourable, but not essential.
  • Ability to work well in a team and on your own.
  • Ability to respond well to criticism and maintain a positive attitude.

Benefits

- £25,000-£35,000 depending on experience
