A leading UK manufacturer of home furnishings is actively looking for someone to join their team as an Inventory Coordinator. The main purpose of this role is to manage the company's stock and Inventory whilst ensuring materials quality through working with suppliers.

As the Inventory Specialist, your duties will include -

  • Ensuring an accurate baseline of stock is in place and then working with the department to ensure this satisfies production requirements.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure not only efficient, on-time delivery but also product quality is of a high standard.
  • Ensuring Purchase Orders are raised and expedited in line with sales and stock demands
  • Using trend analysis to identify sales cycles
  • Work with the production team to ensure accurate stock forecasting.

Ideally for this Inventory Coordinator role you will have -

  • A background in material planning and inventory
  • Ability to use a range of inventory systems
  • Good overall IT skills
  • Baseline knowledge of shipping, both import and export.
  • Experience of Fabrics and Textiles would be beneficial

On offer for this Inventory Coordinator role -

  • Monday - Friday office based worked hours of 7:30am - 4:30pm
  • Starting salary of £30-35,000p/a
  • 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays) rising with long service
