Investment Operations Analyst

Location: Farnborough

Salary: £50,000

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5.30pm

Able to work 2 days from home after probation

My client is a UK-based fintech company and they’re looking for a confident and communicative Investment Operations Analyst with an eye for detail who can work comfortably with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

You’ll work closely with our Customer Services and the Investment Product Team.

You’ll own the day-to-day operations of the new investment products.

Day-to-day liaison with third-party service providers, Company operations, and the Investment Product Team.

Working with the Product Managers - Family Finance to introduce new investment features in our Family Finance offering, and monitor the impact on customers and operations.

Monitor the full investment cycle, including payment settlement and rebalances.

Support resolution on complex customer cases including transfers, cancellations, and refunds.

Be the subject matter expert on our investment back office systems and processes.

Maintain, update, and expand our 'how-to’ guides with the support of the Banking & Investment Operations manager.

Prepare audit material as well as weekly and monthly company reports.

Suggest optimisations and improvements, based on customer experience and manage through to resolution.

Skills & Experience:

3+ years of professional experience in a financial services operational role

Confident and experienced in using back-office systems

Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and recommending actions for scenarios where there isn’t a 'how to’ guide.

Working knowledge of ISAs and mainstream investment products (e.g. equities, ETFs, mutual funds).

Previous FCA experience or regulatory training
