This role will contribute to the Investor Relations strategy by developing and implementing a customised IR programme. You will focus on diversifying the shareholder base, expanding sell-side analyst coverage, and strengthening relationships with existing long-term investors.

Our Client is a European retail group operating a network of stores offering various FMCG products across multiple markets. Known for its rapid expansion and cost-conscious model, it is one of the fastest growing retail businesses in Europe.

Description

  • Prepare reports, scripts, presentations, and Q&A materials for results announcements, conferences, AGMs, Capital Markets Days, and sell-side briefings.
  • Support the Annual Report by co-authoring content in the Strategic Report.
  • Build strong relationships with key shareholders and sell-side analysts, with a focus on the Polish market.
  • Develop an investor targeting strategy with brokers and analyse changes in the share register.
  • Respond to investor and analyst (equity and debt) queries in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Manage sell-side coverage, consensus, and guide market expectations through proactive communication.
  • Provide regular updates to the Board and senior leadership on analyst insights and market activity.
  • Organise non-deal roadshows and meetings for the Chair, CEO, and CFO.
  • Draft quarterly IR updates for the Board.
  • Oversee the IR section of the corporate website, ensuring content is accurate and up to date.
  • Coordinate corporate photography for use in reports, the website, and presentations.
  • Accompany management to investor events and conferences.

Profile

  • 5 years' experience in investor relations or a related field, ideally within a top-tier investment bank, consultancy, Big Four firm, or large corporate.
  • Strong financial modelling and accounting expertise; professional qualifications such as ACA or CFA (or equivalent) are especially beneficial.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel at an advanced level.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, capable of delivering results in a fast-moving and high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Strong eye for detail.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
