What you'll do:

As an Invoice and Billing Controller, you will be at the heart of our client's financial operations. You will take charge of the entire invoicing process, ensuring that all transactions are accurate, timely, and compliant with established policies. Your role will involve standardising invoicing models for consistency, driving automation initiatives for efficiency, taking ownership of management accounting aspects such as WIP, Accrued Income, and Deferred Income. You will also foster a collaborative culture within your team while developing comprehensive reporting mechanisms for tracking performance metrics.

  • Ensure the accurate and timely production of invoices, overseeing the end-to-end invoicing process from order to billing
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain the integrity of invoiced data
  • Standardise invoicing models to ensure consistency and adherence to established billing standards
  • Lead initiatives to drive the automation of billing processes through the implementation and optimisation of advanced automation tools and technologies
  • Take ownership of management accounting related to Work in Progress (WIP), Accrued Income, and Deferred Income
  • Foster a collaborative team culture, providing leadership to the invoicing team, finance assistants and junior staff
  • Develop comprehensive reporting mechanisms to track and monitor invoicing performance metrics
