The Opportunity

A highly successful £120m turnover company is seeking to appoint a well rounded Billing Specialist with strong leadership qualities to their team. This is a position that will support a fast moving business within the Wholesale and Retail sector operating in the UK and Europe.

The Role

Based from HQ in Leicester, along with an overseas team that you will be leading, you’ll own the billing process, charged with ensuring high levels of performance to meet company standards. With a customer base across the UK and Europe that includes supermarket chains such as Lidl, Asda and Aldi, this role is highly important to the cash flow of the business.

You’ll be more hands off with the processing however very hands on with managing the workload, leading the team from afar, governing process and reporting to the senior management team, working with internal and external stakeholders in ensuring process adherence, compliance and resolving issues quickly

The Candidate

We’re looking for a specialist in Billing, perhaps all round Accounts Receivable (although it’s important to stress this isn’t a Credit Management role). Your background should essentially be within a FMCG business, ideally retail / wholesale where you’ll demonstrate outstanding knowledge and capability in the billing and receivables function end to end from order to cash collection.

Leading an AR team in some form is essential, ideally you will have experience in overseeing an overseas team however it’s not essential.
