Role: IP Network Engineer

Location: Guernsey (onsite)

Salary: Flexible dependent on experience

We have a great opportunity with one of our telecoms clients looking for an IP Network Engineer.

The role:

  • Operate, maintain and manage the organisations IP/MPLS networks, broadband, BNGs, DDoS protection systems, broad RADIUS platform and network monitoring platform
  • Assist Service Design in the planning, testing and implementation of enhancements and new technologies for IP/MPLS networks
  • Implement and evaluate IP & MPLS related solutions / technologies
  • Liaise with other internal teams and stakeholders where required
  • Assist with the preparation of performance, growth, and budgeting information

Experience needed:

  • Demonstrated expertise in IP and technical networking
  • Skilled in developing, managing, and supporting IP networks
  • Proficient in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting network hardware, particularly routers and switches
  • Experienced in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting OSPF and BGP dynamic routing protocols
  • Associate Cisco or Juniper accreditation
  • Valid driving license
