About the Role:

Market 36 Recruitment is currently seeking an Irrigation Technician on behalf of our client based near Colchester. This is a hands-on role involving the installation, servicing, and fault-finding of irrigation systems, primarily within the landscape sector.

The position is customer-facing, requiring strong communication skills and a professional approach. The successful candidate must be able to work both independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality service to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair a range of irrigation systems
• Diagnose and resolve faults and issues within irrigation setups
• Work closely with clients to provide technical advice and support
• Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations and company standards
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
• Operate company-provided vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently

Requirements:

• Full, clean driving licence (essential)
• Experience in irrigation systems preferred (training will be provided for the right candidate)
• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical mindset
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Mechanical and electrical experience would be a bonus but is not essential
