We are currently recruiting an IT Administrator on behalf of an established Bank in the City of London on a 12 month fixed term basis.

This role requires fluency in Mandarin

The role will be working with the network and security manager in the administration and maintenance of the Banks IT equipment through the support of the user population, HO application, desktop applications and underlying operating systems. This includes installation, support and maintenance of network infrastructure and security framework.

Day to day responsibilities include:

  • Assist the network and security Manager in the admin of IT equipment IT Department
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring the network, telephony, server, storage, desktop operating systems and desktop applications.
  • Co-ordinate day-to-day IT checks and operational procedures according to defined standards processes and procedures. Ensure that IT meets the required security and service levels along with other relevant corporate objectives.
  • Ensure close collaboration with global groups as and when appropriate, in particular manage the interface to Head Office for IT management of Head Office hosted systems.
  • Responsible for on call service for incident management.
  • Responsible for IT service management including on-site support for users.
  • Responsible for New Joiner and leaver IT processes according the procedure

Required experience:

  • Previous IT support experience include network, desktop, phones, windows 10, GPO are required.
  • Experience in general IT infrastructure such as system monitoring, network, database management, business requirements analysis, storage management, data backup, information security are preferred.
