Our client based in the Lichfield area is currently looking for an IT administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will be reporting to the IT Administration Team Leader and providing 1st and 2nd support for IT Infrastructure including applications, mobile devices, telephone systems and hardware. This role is based at the Head Office but occasional travel to various regional sites may be required.
IT Administrator Key Responsibilities:
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, operating systems and applications at the Head Office and at Service Offices around the UK as required.
- Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
- Supporting mobile hardware & applications including laptops, tablets and smart phones
- Acting as a first point of call of staff for IT problems.
- Co-ordination of IT issues and allocation of tasks.
IT Administrator Skills and Experience:
- At least 1 years’ experience with a variety of desktop, laptop, mobile device configurations and troubleshooting.
- Experience required of configuring and supporting iPhone and Tablets.
- Understanding of LAN/WAN structure and protocols.
- Knowledge of Cisco Telephone Systems beneficial but not necessarily required.
- Competency with Windows / IOS operating systems, Citrix and MS Office suite.
Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 17:00 - half an hour for lunch
