£500pd - £600pd DOE (Inside IR35/Umbrella)

My Central Government client is looking to recruit an IT Delivery Manager for the digital, data and technology (DDaT) function.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Leading supplier engagement agenda, supporting delivery teams using appropriate methodology (e.g. agile, lean, etc) and taking responsibility for delivery of high value cross government projects.

* Having a good commercial understanding working with suppliers

* Managing commercial lifecycles of projects with external and internal delivery partners, ensuring relevant frameworks are upheld, swift issue resolution and value for money.

* Communicating and engaging across government, external suppliers and tech industry partners.

* Accurately managing the finances and budget of specific projects and contributing to the development of business cases.

* Deputising for the Service Owner or Senior Delivery Manager in our teams as required and take a proactive role in strategic programme planning.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

* Evidence of collecting, analysing, forecasting and interpreting complex data; you will identify patterns, evaluate complex problems and make informed workforce planning decisions.

* Experience in delivering and maturing workforce plans in large or complex organisations; you will be able to develop short and long-term workforce solutions in line with government needs.

* Demonstrable evidence of thinking critically, challenging assumptions and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.

* A proven track record of driving organisational workforce change and transformation interventions in complex environments.

* Confidence in working with multidisciplinary teams to deliver within an Agile environment.
