IT Governance Officer - Hybrid Working

Hoist Finance are currently recruiting an IT Governance Officer to join their leading Manchester team. This is an exciting position where you will be instrumental in ensuring the robustness and efficiency of the IT Governance process. You will play an important part in supporting both internal and third -party audits, ensuring systems and processes comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

As an IT Governance Officer you will be involved in:

• Auditing - assisting in coordinating and supporting internal and external audits including preparing documentation, facilitating audit processes and ensuring all IT practices comply with regulatory standards.
• Policy and Procedure Maintenance: supporting with developing, reviewing and updating IT governance policies.
• Business Continuity Planning
• Disaster Recovery and Backup: Managing and overseeing disaster recovery operations and backup procedures, ensuring critical data is securely backed up.

Skills Needed:

• Experience in an IT Governance or Risk Management role
• Strong understanding of audit processes, business continuity planning and disaster recovery strategies.
• Excellent problem and analytical skills.
