Job Title: IT Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Reading/Havant, UK

Mode of working: Hybrid (2 Days/Week)

Job Type: 6 months

As a team player, you will work closely with a team of strategists, architects, and engineers to craft technical solutions that in turn accelerate our business, and this role focusses on working to:

Identify and progress opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement across the team, delivery, and operational practices.

Collaborate to reduce operational risk within the platform.

Partner with Product owners and management to manage and clearly articulate demand planning and delivery against the projected backlog and book of work.

Provide automaton to support our applications adopting our platforms.

Mandatory Skills:

To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

Good knowledge of on-premise Infrastructure services, such as Virtualization platforms, Firewall and Networking technologies

Extensive experience in Infrastructure automation, with knowledge of configuration tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef and Terraform.

Knowledge of Operating Systems (Windows and/or Linux).

Ability to write software scripts in at least one general-purpose programming language (Bash, PowerShell, Python)

Understanding of either Amazon AWS or Microsoft Azure and Cloud Native Architecture is desirable, but not essential.
