IT Manager £55k - £60K / On Site / Waltham Cross.

Join a boutique B2C organisation based in Waltham cross as an IT Manager. Within this role you will have the opportunity to lead, coach and develop a small team and take part in 3rd party management and supplier negotiations. Daily responsibilities will also include maintaining, supporting, and upgrading IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and security. The IT manager will ensure the smooth operation of all telephone platforms, including company mobiles and will respond promptly to all IT outages and business critical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact to business operations. The ERP systems in use is Microsoft business central, familiarity with this system will be beneficial.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience managing on-premises and cloud environments
  • Experience with Meraki networking (or similar)
  • Experience with firewall policies (VPN, NAT, Access)
  • Planning and executing security configurations.
  • Managing and securing Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft best practices for security configurations, migration, and VMware VM management.
  • Project and budget management.
  • Managing teams using internal and external resources.
  • Leading and motivating cross-functional teams and influencing senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Experience with security, networking, server software, and application management and support.
