Location: Birmingham (Hybrid)

Are you an experienced IT Manager, looking for a new challenge in your career? Do you have demonstrable experience of leading a small team and ensuring resources are effectively managed? Have you previously been responsible for managing supplier relationships as well as internal and external stakeholders? I'm looking to speak with individuals who can work on large scale tender requirements. You will be able to demonstrate that you can utilise KPI's to effectively manage your team and effectively report on their performance. You should be able to show previous experience in managing IT portfolios and demand to ensure the successful running of an IT function.

Key Responsibilities

Provide performance insights to Heads of Departments to help deliver IT outcomes

Take ownership of software licensing relationships, optimising them where possible

Manage a multi-million pound budget

Implement KPI's to monitor the performance of the IT function

Produce future plans for the IT function, accounting for resource, priorities and budgets

Highlight areas for improvement within the IT function

Work with Procurement Business Partner to lead on tenders

Manage internal stakeholder relationships to drive improvements in the IT function

The Ideal Candidate

Excellent problem solving skills

Able to work in a cross-functional environment

Strong stakeholder relationship skills with the ability to effectively communicate

Team player with a collaborative approach

Capable of multi-tasking

Desired experience with:

Supplier relationship management

Managing software licenses and technology assets

Producing KPI's

IT portfolios

Working on multi-million pound tenders
